At Mode salon we believe that everyone is born with beauty inside and out. It is our job as professionals to accentuate the beautiful qualities and uniqueness of every individual. We strive to use products free of harmful synthetic cosmetic ingredients, which are still used by most hair care manufacturers and hair salons today. We proudly use a professional ammonia free, certified organic hair color; Organics Color Systems.

What inspired you to open up your own salon? Freedom. I have always been a bit on the independent side. I love what I do from the art of the industry, to the relationships that are built. I enjoy taking my time with each guest, with the freedom of being who I am and not feeling like I have to do a certain dollar amount each day. Its more important to me to make someone feel great about how I made them look, and feel. With having my own salon I am able to have the freedom to do that.

What is your favorite thing about the Organic hair coloring system that you use at the salon? This is a hard question for me to answer. This color line has amazed me in so many ways, Intense Reds/Coppers, Shine, Condition, and longevity of the color. Overall it truly is the best color line that I have ever experienced.

What is your favorite part of your job? My favorite part of my job is making my clients feel good about themselves and making sure they love there hair! I really enjoy getting to know my clients and meeting new clients.

What is your favorite service that you offer? I love to transform curly unruly hair into smooth straight hair. I also really love playing with color. Its amazing how it can really change someones look and the way they feel! The organic hair color that we use at Mode Salon is just amazing, and the range of colors it provides is outstanding!

Where did you go to hairdressing school? I did an apprenticeship at Mode Salon and trained under Karen McNeil. I trained at Mode Salon for 2 years and now and working part time as a Stylist.

What are you most looking forward to in your new career? I am very excited to be a part of this industry. I love that it allows you to be constantly learning new things and to challenge yourself on a daily basis.

What is your favorite thing about this industry?

I love the versatilityI love how everyday is not like the last. It is so exciting getting to know new clients and building relationships with them or retaining relationships with current clients. The fact that I can style, color and cut so many different types of hair everyday is what makes it so fun. I love being able to be creative with my clients by trying new things or simply refreshing current styles. Whether the day brings haircuts and colors or simply waxes and styles, I thoroughly enjoy just doing what I love...hair!
